Quadruple the progress!

Lauren, Hannah, Tanner & Tyler's 40 perfect piggies

 Hello!
So much has happened in the last 2 days since the babies' one month!  First of all, yesterday I visited the babies and saw that the boys, Tanner & Tyler, were off CPAP!  They were breathing room air without any O2 or anything!  Not only does this mean their lungs are doing great, but now I can freely see their handsome little faces and see their heads without a cap on!

Then last night, DADDY got some bragging rights because he was the first to hold two at a time-
Tanner & Hannah!

Andy with Tanner & Hannah- what a proud daddy!
Today when I arrived at the hospital I was hopeful that the boys would still be breathing room air.  They indeed were (and doing great!), and as a bonus two other awesome surprises:

Hannah (on a nasal cannula still for oxygen) had the top of her isolette off, meaning she is now maintaining room temperature!

Hannah sleeping in the open air.  Just like a real baby :-)

And finally, the best surprise that had me in tears as I held her later on: my little Lauren girl is off CPAP!  She also has a nasal cannula like Hannah for oxygen, but this was the first time today where I have seen her without a hat on and been able to see her beautiful face!!!  She is so gorgeous...

I think she looks a lot like Jenna's baby pictures here!
God is Good.

Sooooo good!!!

  4. Great news and great photos! Thanks for keeping us posted on the amazing progress.

I did my annual "reading of the blog" today from when Caleb was born. You will be so grateful that you are keeping this record next year when you can look back with your little miracles and remember this time.

Kiss those babies and tell them to keep up the good work.
